Shaggy Inkcap Mushroom A3 Riso Print
Shaggy Inkcap Mushroom A3 Riso Print
Couldn't load pickup availability
The first in a series of riso prints that I've made exploring the variety of forms within the expansive kingdom of different fungi. This print is inspired by the Coprinus comatus, also known as the Shaggy Inkcap, which is a funny little mushroom (although I wouldn't eat it) mostly found in North America, and across Europe. One of the coolest things about this little fungi is that if you leave it to break down (which it does quickly and dramatically) it can be used as ink!
Details:
- Unframed A3 riso print
- Riso printed onto high quality 120gsm paper stock
- The print is made up of blue, neon pink and yellow layers, and is much brighter in person
- This will be mailed in a tube and so will need flattening/framing to remove curling
Due to the nature of riso printing, each print comes with it's own unique differences and so might vary slightly from the pictures shown.
